What do you do when you should be packing for a trip to China? Make funnel cake, what else?! I was browsing around the blog “life in a shoe†(on my sidebar) and found that they regularly make funnel cake at home. We all love funnel cake, so I just had to give it a try. Big hit! Payton said it best…â€Mom, yours are way better than at the fair!â€. I love that boy. I’ll go back to stressing over my to-do list tomorrow. Today, we’re makin’ memories!
Randy loved making them as much (well…) as eating them
Abbey’s turn to dust with powdered sugar, with Marley anxious for her turn. The boys were in there helping too, just didn’t manage to get a good pic of them!

I’ve never had one! It looks DELISH! (and very low calorie, I’m sure…..snicker….)

What fun. You will have to e-mail instructions. May get brave and let the kids do this on cousin’s day.

Looks like you guys did a pretty good job on the funnel cakes…they look great! Not sure if I’ve ever had one, but have seen many at the NC State Fair! What a nice comment Payton made, but of course, that’s Payton, a REAL NICE kid!!! Love, Mom

I can smell them from here. Randy looks so intense while he is cooking them. You are right… Make loving memories now as a family. I have many to remember from when Randy and Tony were kids.
