As Lainey would say.
We have 2 more full days to get ready for our trip to Dylan. Gracious. Thankfully, our master “to-do” list IS shrinking. Tomorrow, we take care of financial things, finish cleaning the house, and some last minute paperwork checking. Oh, and we should probably pack. Other than a few things in Dylan’s bag, we’ve not packed anything.
My mom is hyperventilating right now. Sorry, mom.
To make things even MORE interesting, we’re throwing in some early Christmas celebrating. We’re going to Carolina Christmas at the Charlotte Motor Speedway tomorrow night…huge drive through light show, Santa (which Lainey says she WILL sit on his lap…time will tell), and other Christmasy things. Then, on Tuesday, we pick up Gram at the train station and go directly to our downtown Christmas parade. Normally, I’m TOTALLY against doing anything remotely Christmasy before Thanksgiving. But, this year, there are no rules. Gotta celebrate when we can :)
Until the next post…maybe I’ll have time for a picture tomorrow? Of packed luggage maybe? Nah…

YIKES!!!! Haven’t packed yet?? You’re right, I AM hyperventilating!!! Where’s a paper bag?!!
Hope you guys (all of you!) enjoy the Christmas celebrating!! You just can’t get too much Christmas…how I love the music and lights!!! Hey, just to make me feel better, post a picture of the PACKED luggage…:)
Many many prayers for your safe arrival and God protect you while you’re in China. Give our little guy a big hug (or as Lainey would say, a big “squeeze” from Granma & Granpa!!! Love ya!!

I finally got my packing done to leave tomorrow, but have re-packed several times. It is hard to know just what to take when one day is 65-70 for a high and 2 days later it is supposed to be high in low 40’s !! That is NC weather for you.
So I get to go to a Christmas parade tomorrow? WOW ! I would love to take the kids to McAdenville to see their Christmas town, but not sure about that one yet. Maybe your parents might want to take them there while they are with the kids. McAdenville is where Tony and Randy went when they were kids.
I am so excited about spending time with the kids and finally getting Dylan into our lives !! YEA !!!
