His favorite thing lately is helping put away the clean dishes. Â I sit him on the counter, so he can reach.
Lainey empties the top, and Dylan the bottom (after I remove anything breakable or sharp!) Â Lainey knows where everything goes (even better than the big kids), and she’s helping to teach Dylan.
Sometimes, he gets confused and puts HIMSELF away. Â Ha…

I was TOTALLY not expecting the last picture, but had to laugh when I saw it. It is great that Lainey and Dylan like to help. Lainey loved to help me in the kitchen cooking, but she wasn’t into the cleaning up part then. (if I remember correctly, I’m not sure the older ones were either. LOL)
The “little”s are HUGE in how cute they are.

That’s just too cute!! They’re at the age when they can’t do enough to help out around the house. You’re absolutely right…Lainey knows where EVERYTHING is in your house…even screws! Granpa found that out when he needed some. The older ones didn’t have a clue…and here comes Lainey with a whole box of screws for him!! He said, “Now I know who to ask from now on!!” LOL
