This was Dylan’s first glimpse of the ocean…he took to it right away.
Lainey was very excited! Back when we lived here, she always liked the beach but the waves scared her a bit. Not this year.
The buckets and shovels were put to good use.

The beach is a great place to practice your cartwheel.
These pictures are from last Saturday. We went back to the beach yesterday, but decided to leave the camera behind. Dylan loved it even more, going out deeper with Daddy, jumping waves with Julianna and Emily (our friend Jon and his daughters came to hang out with us), and making wet sand castles. Even I – not exactly a beach lover – had a fantastic time.

Now these are really adorable pictures of our littles enjoying the beach…for the 1st and 2nd time!!!! Looking at them, I felt like I was right there with them, jumping over those refreshing waves!!! So glad they BOTH are loving it this year and doing exactly EVERYTHING that you’re supposed to do at the beach…run away from the waves, digging in the sand, letting Daddy swing you around in the water!! But, I gotta admit, I never tried just laying back in it like Lainey is doing….how cute!! Love the shot of them lying on their bellies next to each other…priceless!!!! Yeah, Dylan in the sand is pretty funny!!!! Keep on taking them to that wonderful beach the rest of the week…what great memories for them and you guys!!!

Love the pictures and never had a doubt as to whether Dylan would love the ocean or not. I am glad to see Lainey is loving it even more. The picture of them laying on their stomachs is great. Yes, the ones of Dylan in the sand are toooooo funny. Who’s idea was this? What is funny is that Lainey looks like she doesn’t have but one leg in the picture of her doing her cartwheel. Keep the pictures coming.
