Dylan, along with some of his buds from the 3’s and 4’s class at church, made their singing debut by singing Jesus Loves Me at our church’s Family Baptism.
We weren’t sure how he’d do. Lainey has always been shy about these things…I was pleasantly surprised that she actually went up on stage during VBS and did her thing this summer. Dylan wasn’t nervous at all, and didn’t hesitate when it was time to perform.
He did great during the rehearsal.
However, they turned on the overhead screens during the actual performance and Dylan spent most of the time staring behind him, trying to find himself. Sigh.
Managed to catch him actually facing forward.
Grand finish!
He was so happy afterwards, running around with his friend, Brianna.
Always the gentleman.
We’re looking forward to watching Dylan on stage again…and, we’ll be sure and remind him to look out at the crowd this time :)

Just look at that big boy up on that stage! Oh, what a blessing that “2 leg walk” is!! Dylan, we are proud of you and wish we had been there to hear you sing!
Now you have your work cut out for you to explain to him that it’s best if he faces the audience when he sings!
So cute how he’s holding the door open for his friend, Brianna! At least you won’t have to teach him manners!! lol

You said it all when you said….”running around” which is something Dylan couldn’t have done without becoming a part of the Clark clan. It is no more “2 leg walk”, but “2 leg RUN”.
I can’t blame Dylan for wanting to see himself on the screen. Anybody that cute ought to see himself on the big screen. His first debut and it is singing “Jesus Loves Me.” I probably would have been crying just watching him.

What a showman! Josi does the same thing when there’s a screen or even just people standing behind her. hahaha Looks like he’s adjusting just great to his new leg too!

Dylan is so cute no matter what direction he faces!
