The youth pastor at church asked if we’d host a middle school event at our house. We said yes.

Looks like the day was a SUCCESS!! When we read their activities for the day, we were a little stumped on the “polar bear antics”…and then when we were scrolling down, we looked at each other and said, “Uhoh…the LAKE!! Payton evidently forgot how COLD the water was last year, but we noticed that Ethan bowed out this time…!!! Smart dude!!!
Charades looked like fun…we played that at a Christmas Eve party with friends when you were about 4 years old…just a few years ago…HA!!!
The football game was a good idea to get out and get some really great exercise! Looks like Randy enjoyed that, too!!
I’m sure the kids appreciated your kind generosity sharing your house, yard…and yes, LAKE for the event. These are what memories are made of!!

I can see Ethan bowing out of the Polar Bear experience, but where was Randy? He is such a kid himself and I am sure if one of the kids had dared him…..
I love the way all the kids love to come to your house to hang out. That says a lot for how they feel about you and Randy. I also love that the teens always are holding or giving attention to Lainey and Dylan.
The picture of Randy whispering to Dylan made me want to know what was going on. As did the picture of Payton in some weird position????
Wonderful memories for all….
