Here we are, posing in front of the Pearl River at our hotel. We had just come back from the US Consulate office, where we took our official oath…the last stop on this adoption journey.  It is amazing to think back on all the tiny steps that it took to get here. We are so thankful!! We leave the hotel tomorrow morning at 5:45 and our flights take us from Guangzhou to Hong Kong to New Jersey, and finally back home to Florida. We very much appreciate your prayers for safe (and uneventful) travel!

What a great picture! I can’t wait to see you reunited with the rest of your precious family! I am praying for a safe and uneventful trip back home! It won’t be long now! I know Abbey, Marley, Ethan and Payton are so excited that you are on your way home!

Oh, how I want a good print of this last picture of the 3 of you…Lainey looks sooo cute with the red bow!! (Ok, RED is her 2nd best color!!)
No doubt there will be MANY prayers said for you as you’re flying back home (We said many prayers on your trip to China and will say even more on your trip home with our beautiful Lainey)!
It’s amazing how pretty she is…well, you know what they say, she was WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!!
I took a picture of your dad at the computer looking at the picture of you 3 in front of the hotel…the kids were looking over his shoulder enjoying the last picture of you in China. It turned out cute. (I’ll get extra prints of the many pictures I’ve been taking since we’ve been here.) The kids have been using their cameras from you in bag #1…Marley is holding off taking anymore, as she’s down to 2 pictures!!
Ok, it’s almost time to make some grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch. We enjoyed cooking hot dogs, mac & cheese & Abbey’s delicious “mini” apple slices…she tries to make them really small and is very proud of them!! :) See ya REAL SOON!! Love, Mom, Dad & 4 little Clarks!

We are SO EXCITED for you all!! When we said our oath, I (Julie) couldn’t speak. I was so choked up and teary. All I could do was mouth the words.
We will be praying for your travel. Remember, the benadryl definitely helps on all legs of the trip. We gave it to Cherish on the international flight, and she slept so peacefully.

I just love your last photo from China with you 3. I have loved reading your blog everyday, and seeing Lainey. I have missed China so much, and your pictures bring back such wonderful memories.
