…we must be! Six bikes in a row, with an extra little rider on one. We broke out of the neighborhood tonight, going down the main road for about 3 miles total.  It was great. The kids loved the adventure of being out amongst traffic!  I’m sure we’ll be doing that a lot more, and hopefully my legs won’t be quite as sore as they were tonight!
In her co-pilot seat complete with bunny helmet. I promise, she loves biking even though she doesn’t look so happy here! She asks to go biking all the time, with her sign for “bike”. Yes, that’s a boo-boo on her eyelid. The girl is such a dare-devil, she always has some kind of bump or scratch.Â
Speaking of being daring, here’s Ethan deciding to give his hands a break.Â

Okay…. so all 8 of you put Gram to shame – even Lainey. As you know I am very afraid of riding a bike and have been since I was about 7 or 8. The last time I tried was when I was about 25 and I rode the bike for about 6 feet and then it rode me for about 20 feet and I ended up with a nearly broke ankle. On a bike now I would be doing Lainey’s sign language for “all done.”
It does look like fun for you all and knowing you are taking this time for family togetherness is wonderful. Just please be careful out among the traffic, okay??
Love the bunny helmet on Lainey. Ethan must take after his dad with the dare devil instincts. Be careful Ethan. I don’t want you to get hurt. It’s neat how each one has their own color/style helmet.

What fun you guys must be having!! What a coincidence…Ann is afraid of a bike, so am I and have been for years!! When Judy and I were about 8 and 10, I was riding behind her coming home from Bible School, and Judy lost control of her bike and really hurt her leg pretty badly. I have always, since then been nervous to ride a bike. Your dad and I rode them here in Clayton when we first moved here, and when a car would go by me, I wobbled the bike and thought I’d fall! Guess we’re done with biking, right, Ann?!
I also love the bunny helmet…pink is really her color and she looks totally adorable! You guys look good in the picture with your bikes! Ethan, you make me NERVOUS…please put your hands back on the handle bars! Love, Granma :)

Wow, you ARE a sight…a parade of Clarks!! My dad used to take us on “bike parade” rides when I was a kid, too…some of my favorite childhood memories!
You motivate/inspire me to spend more time outdoors with Carson…if you can do it with five kids, I can surely swing it with two!!
Great updates!!
Teresa =)
