What a difference a day makes…

Here’s Lainey from Saturday – yes, she has 4 ponytails in her hair because that’s how many she asked for. She’s into colors and numbers these days :) Yesterday, our weather was very spring/summer like. High near 80, sunny. We were out doing yardwork and got HOT. Randy was adjusting some of the sprinkler heads, so the kids decided to cool off…

At this point, I look over and she’s taking her shorts off. I ran inside and got a swim diaper. Bathing suits from last year are TOO tight, so…

Skip forward to today. We wake up and it’s raining and really windy! High today? 55! This afternoon, we finish up the yardwork that was started yesterday.

Don’t let the bare feet fool you…Lainey and I were the only sane ones wearing shoes. Even Randy kicked off his flip flops. I’m a wimp in cold weather and had on a tee shirt, sweatshirt, and a jacket!

Randy and Jack :) Yes, he has on shorts, but you can’t trust the weather based on that. He would wear shorts all year (and, here, he usually can!)

I hear ya! I was wearing capris one day and snow boots the next. What’s up with that??? Hopefully spring is right around the corner.

Four pony tails??? What’s with that?! Our snow is just melting and you have the kids getting cooled off by a hose! I agree with you…I don’t like for the weather to get hot too fast!!! We’re supposed to have mid 70’s by Saturday. It’s going down to the mid 20’s tonight! My feet would be too cold with sandals this time of year..the kids bare feet made mine cold!! I’d love prints of Marley & Jack in the wagon and all 5 on the yard bench…CUTE!! Love, Mom
