NC Trip

Will I EVER catch up posting about our Christmas??  After this post, I should be about there…I know you’ll all be relieved.

First stop, Granma and Granpa’s house.

Granpa’s a goof.

With Great Nana, my grandmother.  She’ll be 89 this year :)

Next, we headed to Nana and Paw Paw’s house…

Presents there had a nighttime theme :)

Apparently someone told Lainey to laugh.

The kids with Memaw, Randy’s grandmother.  She’ll be 90 this year :)

And, finally, the last grandparents house.  Gram and Pa-Paul.

The boys and some of their cousins…would you trust these boys at the dessert table unsupervised?

Abbey and her cousin Samara cheesing for the camera.

11 of the 17 people there.  And, that only includes our family of 7, Randy’s brother’s family of 8, and grandparents.

Payton and cousin Caleb…he goes to college this year.  Gracious, I’m getting old.

Our last big get-together was seeing Randy’s mom’s family.  We were able to see Randy’s aunts and cousins, some we haven’t seen in years.  It was loud…tons of kids, and a whole table full of teens this year.  Did I mention I feel old?

Gram and her boys.

See?  Lots of kids.

Marley with her cousin Anna Grace, enjoying the evening.

Other than our Christmas celebrations with all the grands, we had time to see old friends (Hi, Debra!) and just relax and spend time with family.  Our kids loved their time with cousins, but never seem to get enough.  We had a wonderful visit!

Your Great Nana just doesn’t seem to age and is still so beautiful. I got the sweetest Christmas card from her. I always send one to her and your other grandmother.

Why does our get together here look “messier” than at any of the other homes ?? LOL

All the pictures are so good. If you think you are getting old, what do you think it makes me feel like? Can’t believe that Caleb is going off to college. Time needs to stand still for awhile.

HOW did Randy and Tony get so BIG where I am “dwarfed” standing between them?? LOL

Glad you posted these as I had been waiting to see pictures.

Wouldn’t MeMe and PaPa be amazed at how many great grandchildren there are now??

Wonderful pictures … you all managed to sneak in quite a bit of family celebrations in such a short time! It was great to see the Florida Clarks (& everyone else, too), though I’ll admit that it was definitely LOUD that night. I’m very grateful to be included.

I tried to link Mary Cleve to my Facebook pictures I took that night, but she could only access them if she joined and so I sent her a selected group, including the one of Samara & Lainey playing over in the family room, early in the evening. Her comments: “Lainey’s beautiful!” “She has just blossomed.” I agree.

And I agree with Ann’s comment about age … where does the time go?

HOW TRUE!! The time just slips away…it doesn’t seem like 10 years ago since we welcomed the 2000’s!! Love these photos!! You really captured your NC Christmas in pictures so well!! Keep the camera handy, cuz Christmas of 2010 is “just around the corner”!! LOL!!

It seemed like Christmas would never get here and now January is exactly half gone already!! Ok, I’m gonna go make my Christmas wish list…HA!!

I gotta say, we really have an amazing beautiful family…the Clarks, Wests, Clarks, and Stegalls!!! FEEL BETTER, ANN!!!!
