Marley is as comfortable with horses as I am…not. She’s always been our nature girl, lover of all animals, rescuer of every toad and frog that makes it into our pool. That’s our Marley.Â
She’s taken horse riding lessons on and off for the last few years. She really likes where she’s taking lessons now, but with our move, we’ll be on the look out for another.Â
Recently, they got a few baby chicks at the barn.  Marley and her friend Sarah Grace always have to spend a little quality time with them after their lesson.Â
Have YOU ever had a chicken resting on your head? No, me either.Â

Why do I have the feeling I’ll be grandmother to a horse one day?

Jim would be happy to adopt Marley and then he’d have a good excuse to buy the farm back. :)

P.S. Don’t forget to e-mail me the specifics of those teen games you had in all of the pictures. Thanks!

Great pictures of Marley and her animals. I love the chicks sitting on her head and shoulder. Wouldn’t Marley make a wonderful veterinarian one day?
Hope the packing and all is keeping up with the “lists” that I know you have made. LOL

Wow…this gave me a warm and “fuzzy” feeling, kinda like a baby chick!! :) Marley is a very special girl who has always loved critters and animals, so it’s no wonder that horse back riding comes easy to her…the horses sense her love for them. These photos are prescious…Marley, we’re proud of you for your love of animals…ahem, and I hope your hair didn’t get “dirty” from the baby chick…lol!! :D
