Before today, there were maybe 5 shirts and 2 pairs of pants in his closet. And, some of those he’ll have to grow into.
I rose with the birds today, and headed to a Mothers of Multiples sale in the area that I happened to see an ad for. In line before 7am meant I was the first and ONLY person perusing his size racks.
Oh, the adrenaline rush.
An hour later, I had 31 items including shirts, pants, jackets (went a bit overboard there), PJs, shoes, and a couple of books. Got Lainey a few shirts, a dress, and some play food.
Spent less than $2 per item. Yeah, baby. Great start to my weekend!

“Yeah baby”…I agree with you ~ There’s NOTHING (or almost nothing) that starts your weekend off right like finding bargains for clothes that are the right size, + shoes, books…not to mention the extra clothes, etc. for Lainey. It looks like she’s QUITE happy with them. The girl so-far has had a great weekend…starting out at Taco Bell!!! LOL!!
So, what sizes have you been buying?? Need to know that for Christmas coming up!! Also the rest of the kid’s sizes…altho’ usually the bigger kids love our gift cards!!
Hope your weekend continues to be as good!! Your dad and I have been mentioning your name when we have gone outside early in the mornings for work…we said “I’ll bet Donna is LOVING these cooler mornings…I know I am!!!!! Love ya!

I agree with Peggy…. Lainey looks as happy as you sound. I love bargains too and the clothes you got look brand new !! I know you can’t wait for Dylan to be here wearing them. If you all go in November to get Dylan, what would the weather be like in China???
I am just not ready to be thinking toward Christmas as I still feel like I need to get ready for Easter for the kids…. oh, so confusing. I “lost” one whole holiday this year because of surgery. Even Anna Grace said the other day that she missed my Easter so much and that she still wanted to find eggs next year even though she has turned 12 !! YEA !! So Lainey, Josiah, Dylan and Anna Grace will be finding (maybe Payton and/or Ethan ???)
Good job on getting the clothes and all for way under $100 !!!!

You wonderful bargain shopper you! I tried to take my eldest shopping today in PA and it was a total bust–thus reinforcing the “shop alone” and git ‘r done mentality I was born with.
