Yes folks, we’re this excited about rain. It’s been SO dry here lately. You could almost hear our poor grass complaining! Last night, the skies opened up and it rained ALL night. Then, it rained ALL morning today and off and on ALL day. Talk about catching up! Abbey and Payton just love swimming in the rain (as you can see).

I would have TOTALLY done that when I was a kid. I probably still would! I’m so glad that you had rain! It is such a relief, isn’t it? Makes you wonder when they had soooo much famine in the Bible how they could stand it? Talk about putting your faith in God!
I just love that picture. It embodies the JOY of being a kid!

You can tell it was really raining hard in the pool! We finally got some rain, too, on Sunday!! It was wonderful, as our grass, etc. was getting so dry! We got some pictures back of our trip to see you guys and they are so good! Will send you some. It’s supposed to go to the middle to the high 90’s this weekend…sure wish we could get in that pool!! Love you guys, Mom

What fun!!!!! I used to do that when I was a kid and loved it! Our grass is screaming for rain too! It is looking like we live in a hay field! lol!
