After hating the bright yellow paint in the girl’s bathroom for months now, I decided yesterday was the day for change! I can’t blame anyone else for the offensive color…I painted it, and the light pink in the shower room about a year ago. The yellow just turned out way TOO yellow and made the room dark and glarey (is that a word?). So, I got a lighter yellow and got it done in 4 1/2 hours! The after picture washes it out a bit, but trust me…it looks great! Next room to paint? Nursery!

Wow!! I like it much better…it has a softer look and I’m sure it looks better with the pink in the shower room. (I can’t believe I’m the 1st one to comment on this!) So what color will the nursery be? I saw different shades that you practiced with on the wall…kind of a beige or yellow? Sounds like you’re enjoying this!!! Love, Mom

Looks great !! You must have been watching HGTV too much. That is what Paul accuses me of when I start doing stuff around the house. Right now I want to paint the wall around the patio door a dark rose color, but he has about paniced and thinks it won’t look good. Just finished making mats for the end tables and pillows for the den. Too hot to do anything outside !!!!!

It looks great! I need to paint several rooms in my house including the nursery but I despise painting so much! Soon…I’m going to do it soon! ;) You’ve inspired me!
