The weather has been really nice this weekend, making us think of spring. Â I’m still kinda, sorta wishing for another snow storm but I think I’m going to be disappointed on that front.
We decided to find a park to visit on Saturday. Â It was breezy, but a great day to be out.
A little unsure, but Payton makes it all okay.
After that, we couldn’t stop him.
More double-sliding!
Now, I wanna go THAT way, mama.
Ethan spent his time at the climbing wall…or just climbing anything and trying to look cool.
Lainey loved everything, especially the swirly, climby thing.
Oops.
On to the swings. Â Something here looks wrong.
Happiness!
More happiness!
Five out of 6 kids on the swings (plus the dog). Â Remember, Ethan was climbing stuff.
Wearing her new Lake Norman Volleyball Club hoodie and looking awfully cute.
One way to get off a swing.
Dylan loved climbing the play structures. Â Sometimes we’d help put him on them, and sometimes he’d scoot around on the ground. You know how he HATES having his hands get dirty? Â Every time he took a “step”, he’d have to stop and wipe the dirt/mulch off his hands. Â lol…
Apparently, I was choosing to direct her with her head, rather than hold her hand. Â ?
Who’s the mystery person in the middle? Â Hmmmm….
We had a great time at the park yesterday. Â So much so, that we went to another park after church today and had a picnic with friends. Â The littles will probably ask me which park we’re going to tomorrow.

Ah, welcome spring! No better way to celebrate it than a fun day at the park!! Now that Dylan knows what a “park” is, he’s gonna want to go all the time!! Good ‘ole Payton, helping his little ‘bro again…:) A double slide? Love it! Ok, Ethan, you look cool…now get goin’ & get some exercise! LOL We’re quite impressed with Abbey’s new “Lake Norman Volleyball Club” hoodie…and yes, she really does look awfully cute!! Looks like Dylan and I both don’t like getting our hands dirty..really. Hmmmm, I wonder WHO that mystery person in the middle could be… So glad you guys took some time off to just run, play and have a good time in the sun! I’m sure it did all of you a world of good!!
PS There’s always a chance that it could SNOW between now & March! I remember years ago, it was in the 70’s on a Wed. and by Fri., it was cold & snowing…and it stuck to the ground!! Hoping you guys can use your new sleds before spring is officially here!!! :)

How about that weekend’s weather? I’m like you, though. Still hoping for a big, honkin’ snowstorm before we put away the hats and mittens for the year!!!
I see being a mom of 6 is keeping you VERY slim and trim!! You were always tiny but I guess since you so rarely post pics of yourself I forgot how little you are!!! (As I sit here and devour a bag of pita chips! hahahaha
Have a great rest of the week!
