I don’t think I’ve ever posted a picture of Lainey’s orphanage. This is the front and a view from one window. She is fortunate, and the recent storms haven’t affected them at all, they are warm, dry and well fed. We are so thankful. Her orphanage is new, built last year. Just recently, they were able to receive generous donations of new clothes and fruit for Chinese New Year, through the charity Packages of Hope. I hope she’s enjoying her fruit!
4 days till we board the plane!

I can’t help but to look at this picture of Lainey’s “home” and think about what her new home is going to be. She will be getting plenty of fruit and your good cooking once she comes home. I have a feeling that you have also taken care of clothes for Lainey, too.
I know that your family will be blessed when Lainey is (finally) yours, but I just want to say that Lainey is going to be blessed also to have you and Randy as parents and Abbey, Payton, Marley and Ethan as siblings. God has chosen wisely…
love you all… Gram

Dear Donna and Clark Family of six soon to be seven,
Best wishes for a fabulous China journey! Get ready to have your heart, mind and soul blown away. Someone told me while we were in China that adoption is a miracle like no other and they were sooooo right. I’m so incredibly excited for you and your family and most excited for darling, sweet cheeks, Lainey. Haven’t been keeping up with the CCAIWCP group. Too busy. Waah! I miss it terribly. But I have your site bookmarked and will be faithfully following along as you embark on the journey of a lifetime.
Best wishes for safe and happy travels! Go get that munchkin!
Love,
Claire Royer CCAIWCP travel group 1215 for Ona Xiao Jie Royer

What a nice building, and thankfully not a lot of snow! Eat that fruit, little Lainey, there’s more of it in your Florida home!! The above comment put tears in my eyes and makes me more excited for your “journey of a lifetime”!! “Adoption is a miracle like no other”…WOW! Thanks for sharing the photo of Lainey’s orphanage…now we can imagine you both entering those doors to FINALLY pick up your 5th child and give her lots of hugs! (Ok, that also puts tears in my eyes!) Love ya lots Mom
