The lemon cheesecake, took literally hours of preparation on Saturday. Â And, on a scale of 1-10 for taste, it’s easily a 20.
Bravo to the chefs!
Head chef, D’Qota…
and, one of his trusty sous chefs, Dylan…shown here, working very hard!
Payton couldn’t be reached for a photo, he left early for a friend’s house.
However, before that, the boys had an experiment to try out.
Anyone know what happens to an egg when you put it in a microwave?
Yeah, that. Â Instant scrambled eggs. Â All over the microwave. Â How many moms would allow their boys to do this?!? Â I’m so cool. Â Heh.
Good thing the guys were good at cooking AND cleaning…
Now, please excuse us while we eat.

A “20”, huh?? Boy, that must be SOME delicious lemon cheesecake!!! And I can’t believe it takes so long for preparation!! Dylan looks so cute in his red & white checked apron!!
Ahem…I really never thought about what an egg would do in a microwave oven, but I kinda had suspicions that it wouldn’t be pretty!!! ….and I was right!!! Hope they enjoyed the clean-up!! Too bad we can’t take a taste of the cake from our computer. Looks like I’ll have to settle for a dessert here…a slice of Edward’s “Turtle Pie”…yummy!!! Tell D’Qota we’re proud of him….it looks like he has a bright future as a chef…in a very expensive New York restaurant….$$$$$$$ !!!! :)

The cheesecake looks great. A lot of times cheesecake can be dry tasting, but this one doesn’t look that way.
As for the egg… you are a cool Mom for letting them try, but I’m glad they had to clean it up.
