Lainey is having no problems at all adjusting to new foods, as you can see! Mrs. S’s spaghetti and meatballs was a hit!
Here, Randy is attempting to turn my little girl into a sports fan. She looks like a daddy’s girl!
Everyone says to get out in the sunshine to help re-set our bodies to US time, so outside we went. We took a stroller ride around the block, and then enjoyed the beautiful day in the yard. Lainey wasn’t so sure about the grass, most likely her first time with it. She eventually sat right down and started exploring.
Hmmm…wonder what a leaf tastes like…
One day, I’ll climb that tree just like my brothers and sisters!
Cool Jack, enjoyed the day as well. Lainey still wants nothing to do with the poor guy.

Donna,
It’s so good to see Lainey in her new home and seemingly adjusting well! Prayers are continually going up for your family as you adjust to life with Lainey. It’s amazing how she looks like she’s been in your family from day one…
Blessings!

We said pink and red were her colors!! (spaghetti picture)
I am sure Randy doesn’t mind Lainey being a “Daddy’s Girl.” She looks so happy sitting with him.
I love her in the little skort! Can you imagine that she stood in grass for probably the 1st time? She has so many “firsts” now that she is a part of your family.
Poor Jack:( She will warm up to him and probably be his best friend one day. How could you not love Jack.. especially with his cool sunglasses.
Love to all of you.

Welcome home! It was awesome meeting you in person and traveling with you. You’ll forever be part of our memories of this trip. We’ll have to get together somehow!

Things are looking kind of normal already. I know you guys are still catching up with sleep etc. Ron and I will be leaving in a month from today for Hawaii,(April 4th – 13th) our flight time is a total of 12 hours and I am not looking forward to that part of the trip. Glad to see all is going well. Love Nana & PawPaw
