Untouched photo Lainey took with my phone, of our backyard sky. Â Cotton candy, anyone?
Back to the title of this post. Â Know what I want??
Snow. Â Just enough to cover the ground nicely, and let the kids play for a day or two. Â I’m not greedy, people.
A few times recently, there’s been snow in the forecast. Â And then…poof…it’s gone. Â Nothing.
That’s just plain mean.
I also realize that those of you buried under mounds of snow aren’t feeling so sympathetic towards me. Â I get it. Â I’m not sure I’d want to be in your snow shoes either. Â Ahem.
I’m still holding out hope that we’ll get a decent snowstorm this year. Â My family isn’t feeling it so much.
But, I can be patient.

What a beautiful photo that Lainey took!! She’s turning into quite the photographer!! Love the pink clouds! Actually, we here near Raleigh DID get some snow…I believe it was Tuesday night? It covered our lawn & was pretty on the trees. I took a couple of pictures of it. Since it’s been so cold, there’s still some snow left on our grass and on our deck! Yesterday (Friday) was crazy COLD!!!
Hope you get some snow before winter is over…I mean, why waste this cold blast WITHOUT it?!!!

Looks like we may be getting some snow tomorrow here and you all just a dusting of snow. It depends on exactly where the ‘line’ decides to go. 25 miles either way will make a huge difference. I just want enough to make me a bowl of snow cream and then I am good and the snow can melt. Wish you all would get enough so that the kids (you and Randy included) could play out in it. You have your own hills to sled on too.
