Taken before heading to the game…
Our boys had their final Red Sox baseball game today, to decide the champs in the Minor 9 division and they won! What a game! We’d score, they’d tie it, they’d go ahead, we’d tie it up…again and again it went back and forth, until we were last to bat and brought the winning run in. My heart was racing the whole time…couldn’t they have just beat the tar out of ‘em and made it easier on me?!?! And, while I’m complaining, couldn’t it have been a little less hot? lol… It was great.
One of EJ’s TWO hits today…see where he left the ball? Nice bunt. He got another base hit later.
Pate got the job done in the outfield, with some great fielding.

WAY TO GO CHAMPS !!!
Payton and Ethan…I know how hard you all have worked to get the championship and how badly you wanted it. I’ll bet your Dad was excited too. Was Lainey really holding up “1” to show that you all were #1 Champs?? Where are you going to put your trophies? I remember when your Daddy and Uncle Tony would win and how excited we all were. Close games can be so nerve-racking.

CONGRATULATIONS, PAYTON AND ETHAN!!!!! Wow, sounds like it was a real “nail biter”!!!! Wish we had been there to cheer them on! Looks like Lainey had the best seat with shade! We were thinking about you guys but we couldn’t remember what time the game was. How relieved were you, Donna & Randy?? (I thought if they lost this last game, Ethan probably would have been hitting his head against the wall! Ha)
The smiles in their 1st picture before the game look a little apprehensive, but look at them in the group picture holding those TROPHIES!!! :) Donna, remember when you cheered for the Garner Rams and they were undefeated champs, too…that was fun!! Love to you ALL…Mom & Dad
