Nope, we didn’t show her how to hold her pencil, she’s just doing it right. Although, now that I think of it…she is very good at copying what we do, even if she only sees it one time. So, maybe she noticed how the kids were holding their pencils?? Regardless, I’m impressed :)Â
The many faces of Lainey…
I’m not a professional, but I think those are some really advanced swirlies she’s making!Â

How Cute !!!!
Love the second picture with her lip all “pooched” up. She is expressive… and smart.
She is even right-handed !! And look how prissy she is holding the pencil in the last picture.
Thanks for making my day/night. Always love new pictures of all the kids.

I LOVE Anne’s comments (above, #4!!) The way she’s been learning since she touched USA soil, she probably WILL have a high IQ…Go Lainey!! I could not believe that 1st picture of her looking soooo serious and holding the pencil so perfect!!! Do I hear the name “Einstein”?!! And the cute expressions in the rest of the pictures…she’s her daddy thru and thru!!! What a wonderful personality…to think how shy she was in February!! Love her to pieces! Mom
