Abbey and Marley decided to introduce Lainey to the fine art of dress-up today. I was very surprised when they came downstairs, to see Lainey actually keeping the tiara on…she usually rips anything off her head about a nanosecond after you put it there. Incidently, that tiara has some major history. I wore it when I was 9 and Ball Queen for a local little league team. Ah, the memories…
the gals all glammed up…Abbey looks ready for the prom, while Marley looks ready for the saloon.Â
Thanks, Miss Anne, for the great “dress”!  You can’t tell in the picture that it almost hits the floor, but she loved it. She’ll be growing into this tee shirt for a while!Â

Dress Up is so much fun. Remember how the girls always dress up my manequin here?? Lainey looks like she is having a good time with it. Abbey looks so grown up in her outifit. And, yes, there is an old timey saloon in Texas that wants to interview Marley. What is funny to me is that they all three are dressed up, but barefooted !!

Look at “Princess Lainey”!!! What a clever way to dress her up for playtime…way to go, Abbey & Marley!! I could hardly believe that you still have that original tiara from being “Ball Queen”! Ah yes, the memories…you wore a cute peach color long dress, and you and I were out on the field and couldn’t believe that it was between you and another little girl to be queen!! You got 1st runner up! I was quite proud of my little “queen” that day, with your trophy, etc.!! The tiara looks as cute on Lainey as it did on her mom years ago! Love, Mom
