He’s wearing some form of pink or purple in EVERY picture we have of him.Â
We’ve decided to name our new son Dylan. Randy suggested this name a while back, when we were still making our decision to adopt him. One night, we were online looking at boy names and decided to look up the meanings of the boys names we had on a list.Â
Remember what Yu Hai means? Yu – “of” or “for” Hai – “sea”.  So, you could say it means “of the sea”.Â
We were floored to read what the name Dylan means…. it means “son of the sea”
How cool is that?Â
So, Yu Hai is our Dylan. Dylan YuHai.

Real men wear pink!!! I love the name Dylan and I think it suits him just fine!!! I’m jealous that you have so many pictures of him already. I’m clinging to my measly 2 or 3 (none of them very good by the way). Oh well. Hope to take a ton of my own VERY soon!!

Loved this name when Randy told me about it when he was “mama sitting” at the hospital. Glad that you all decided to name my grandson Dylan. love the meaning of his name. It seems like God is just confirming this adoption with all the “small” signs… birthdate, meaning of name, etc.
How are you going to get Lainey to start calling him Dylan ??

I cannot believe I missed your big announcement. My computer has been acting up. Then I lost my password. I am soooo excited for you. We are using CCAI for Lydda’s adoption too. Dylan is adorable. I love the pink in his pictures. People think Lydda is a boy because she is wearing boy clothes. You are a blessed and joyful mommy.
